►Card In Balloon: A funny stand-up routine where a selected and signed card appears in a chosen balloon.
►The International Coin Trick: Four coins, each from a different country, penetrate the center of a table, one at a time arriving audibly in a glass.
►Through & Through: Four cards are placed at the four corners of a table. They magically gather beneath a jumbo card one at a time.
►Color Triumphant: A card is peeked at in a red deck. The deck is cut into three piles and the piles are shuffled face up and face down. When the deck is spread all the cards are now facing the same way except the selected card. As a kicker ending the deck is now blue backed and the selection is the only red backed card in the deck.
►Four Coins In The Countin': The coin assembly that introduced the now famous Pickup Move. Four coins in different corners of the table vanish one at a time and gather under one playing card. As a finale a large coin is produced.
►Open Sesame: Four Aces are lost in different parts of the deck and are then found using four different flourishy methods.
►Double Color-Changing Aces: Four aces are lost in a red deck and then produced, but now they have blue backs. In a visual ending their backs change back to red in a flash.
►Sleights explained within routines: Topping The Deck, Rubdown, Han Ping Chien, Turnover Switch, Peek Force, Pickup Move, Bluff Shift, The Nelson Quickie, Bottom Slip Cut, Triple Buckle, Throw Cut and much more. This is your chance to see a legend of close-up magic.

The video begins with a live lecture, taped in Sacramento, California in 1998, where Derek performed and explained his favorite routines.
►The Derek Dingle Fabulous Jumping Card Trick: Derek's funny handling of Edward Victor's Eleven Card Trick where the spectator deals eleven cards into your hand but each time you count the cards you only have ten. This is repeated with cards added to the packet and taken away but the total is never as it should be.
►New Wave Cigarette Through Quarter: A repeat cigarette through quarter routine like no other. After penetrating the center of a borrowed quarter with a cigarette you confess that you switched coins and then you repeat the sequence with the "real" quarter.
►The Sympathetic Cards: This is considered the best method for the classic routine where thirteen cards in A-K numerical order are placed in full view in a glass. A second set of cards are removed in a random order from a second deck and placed in a different glass beside the first. Magically the original packet rearranges itself in sympathy to match the order of the random set of cards.
►Super Card Rise: A comical and simple method for having a selected card rise out of an ordinary un-gimmicked deck.
►Rainbow Deck: An odd backed card is placed in the middle of the deck as the spectator attempts to select it. When he finally selects a card it turns out to be the only regular card left in the deck as all the others now have odd backs.
►Silver Quick: A clean coins across routine where four coins vanish from your hand and appear on the spectator's palm and in her clenched fist. This was probably Derek’s favorite routine.
►Derek's Ambitious Card (Performance Only): Used as a closer for his shows and lectures it is the classic effect done the Derek Dingle way with a card to sealed envelope in wallet ending.
►Derek also demonstrates how to peel cards, discusses how to make gaffed cards, gives tips on perfecting the Pass and teaches the many techniques used within the routines.
