Whenever Derek Dingle had to perform on stage his goto routine was always his version of the Card In Balloon. It was a funny stand-up routine where a selected and signed card appears in a chosen balloon.

The basic routine begins with a playing card being selected and signed. Then three balloons are inflated, two round ones and one long one, creating a funny display. As the spectator decides which ballon to use the long one flies away. Of the two remaining balloons, one of them now deflates, leaving the single round balloon. When the balloon is popped the selected signed card appears in its place, between your hands.

The tutorial includes a live performance, a studio performance, and a detailed explanation of how to prepare, and perform the routine.

NOTE: Derek preferred using a signed card that needed to be palmed out using advanced sleight-of-hand. If you don’t want to use a palm you can easily do it with a force and a duplicate.
