Dr. Schwartz’ Rise is a very easy routine to learn and perform yet it has a powerful impact on your audiences.

The basic routine consists of a card being freely selected from a shuffled and examined deck of cards and then lost back in the deck. The deck is shown to have a hole running through it and a pencil is threaded through the deck so it is now hanging on the pencil.

Under your complete control the selected card begins to rise out of the center of the deck. It is eerie and can freak people out. It continues to rise until it is fully exposed and shown to be the selection (which can be signed). Everything can be handed out for examination at the end.
