Improvisations (William P. Miesel)
- Difficulty: INTERMEDIATE
- Category: CARD MAGIC
- Product Type: BOOK
The popularity of Bill Miesel’s first book, “The Creative Card Magic Of William P. Miesel,” spurred him to publish another collection of his card magic the following year. This, second book, features more of his brand of card magic. The forward of the book explains his mission and the meaning of the title:
“I have entitled this collection of routines Improvisations, and I feel that this title is very appropriate. While reading , it will become apparent that the plots are not really new but have been around, some for only a short time, but others have been on the scene for years.
In working with previously published routines, I had arrived at certain points that were uncomfortable, and so I had to improvise. This book is the result of those improvisations.
It is this constant improvising that moves Card Magic closer and closer to perfection. So, keep on improvising.”
Routines include:
We’ll Get ‘Ja, Packet To Packet, Mini Oil And Water, Selection Vs. Homing Card, Dealing With Signed Cards, The Stapled Cards, The Chameleon Jokers, The Visiting Aces Revisited, and Uncanny Prediction.
First Edition. Published by Unikorn Magik in 1981. 84-pages, 5.25x8.25 inch, saddle-stitched, soft-cover. Written by William P. Miesel.
