This was one of Jerry Andrus’ favorite routines to perform during casual and seemingly impromptu situations. It is also the one he likely performed more times than any other during his lifetime.

It is very easy to learn and is very magical to laypeople, even though magicians can often follow what is going on.

It starts out as a card trick, where Jerry asks, “Have you ever heard of the two-card trick?” and has two cards pointed at. The cards are removed and shown on both sides.

Then, suddenly, a coin appears between them, and another, and another, and another… Until your hands are full of coins and you dump them into the spectator’s cupped hands, and everything is examinable.

All you need are a bunch of coins (Jerry preferred using twelve Silver Dollars) and a deck of cards. Very easy to learn and perform.
