Danny’s Panel Board
The Panel Board was first introduced in the 1880s as a coin vanish under cover of a cap. It sat dormant until the late 1920s and early 1930s when Danny Tsukalas discovered it and started coming up with amazing looking sequences where coins would vanish and appear under impossible conditions.
Danny was a very successful pitchman who later ended up having his own magic counter in Macy’s flagship store in New York City where he demonstrated his sequences with the board while selling thousands of them. The routines were so amazing that many magicians were inspired to pursue magic as a career after being completely fooled, mesmerized, and astonished.
The problem was that the instructions that came with the boards were not thorough enough to teach how to master it and most purchasers gave up on learning it.
We have put every effort to teach you everything you need to know to do impossible looking magic. You will be able to do some of the sequences within minutes of learning the real secrets of how to prepare and manipulate the board.
The 85-minute video tutorial/documentary features demonstrations, interviews, and explanations by David Copperfield, David Haversat, Jim Sisti, Evil Dan, Danny Tsukalas, and Meir Yedid. The tutorial alone is worth more than what is being charged for the entire package.
These are made of wood and are based on the original designs. They have a checkered front and can handle small coins like US Dimes and Pennies. Overall size is approximately 3.75”x3.38”x.25” and they are all identical. Includes access to a very special 85-minute video tutorial.

Highly recommended purchase.
I ordered Danny’s Panel Board from MyMagic because the idea and the visuals fascinated me. However I had some doubts that I would be able to perform it adequately, because my old hands are not as agile as they used to be and are somewhat arthritic.
As is always the case with anything I order from Meir Yedid, I always receive my orders accurately & promptly. Meir has the most efficient processing and shipping of any magic store that I have ever ordered from..
Perhaps even more important is Meir's commitment to helping magicians (especially amateurs like me) perform the effects that he sells optimally. The tutorial on Danny’s Panel Board is just such an example - superb teaching and explanation. Because of Meir's teaching and tips, I found the Panel Board surprisingly easy to do and the visual quite amazing. So much so that, recognizing that I WILL use it and that it might break or get lost at some point, I just ordered two more, so that I can carry one with me and have backups at home without worrying about whether they will continue to be made or not.
Meir's passion for the art is so evident - he does not just “sell" products but is clearly invested in the success of his customers in performing what he sells. I greatly appreciate how much effort he puts in to creating detailed tutorials with excellent tips and even demonstrates different presentations from different performers.

The history behind this is an excellent job. The 25.00 to spend is way worth the magical story you can tell while performing this trick, the easier method is really good, But when you build a routine to this, Like the old Bat Man show ( POW } ( BANG } Really strong, this will get them wondering.
It is "knacky", no doubt about it -- but worth the rehearsal time, in my opinion.
In all my years in magic, I'd never even been exposed to this. Because Meir's teaching is so good, I went ahead and purchased the larger version.

Why *** (three stars)?
The 'magic part' of my board needed no "breaking in" -- it worked perfectly. But, when I brought it out to perform it last night, the gimmick wasn't functioning well. Not at all.
Fortunately, I tested it in private, to make sure I had the board properly 'oriented'. With constant showers outside, and the humidity indoors was at 89%, causing the wood to swell.
It became clear: the 'board" is made of 'wood' -- not plastic. Take care in humid environments!
I'm looking forward to performing with it. But, in the dry heat of summer!

This is probably the best close-up trick you've never seen since so few people perform it. But it's a trick you can do. You'll need to practice just to get the knack, but it's not difficult. I got the classic panel board, which is nicely made. The documentary-tutorial video really goes into depth about the history of the board and some of the different moves that are possible. Highly recommended!
