If you like to hear about the world of card cheating you will love this DVD set which follows him as he tells his thrilling life story and talks about what it takes to be a successful cheat. He talks about being busted with a gang for drilling the slots on the floors of Las Vegas casinos, about betrayals and friendships in the world of professional gamblers, and about going to prison for running a juiced dice table in an illegal gambling house for the Mulano Family in Los Angeles.
He also teaches how to handle a deck of cards in a way that won't make a pro grimace and shows some never before published cheating moves and some advanced handlings and nuances on some classics. He explains chip stealing moves as well as card handling. He talks about what is actually useful and important and tips his method for marking and re-sealing a deck of cards for Blackjack.

Highly Recommended
I was one of a few select magicians who were lucky enough to "Doc" as my personal mentor when learning to make a living performing magic. Make no bones about it, Doc was "The Real Deal" and Pop Haydn & Chef Anton added a wonderful collection of newspaper articles about Doc and his crews he worked with (like the Mob and the Yakuza) getting arrested for drilling slot machines, running private card games and other criminal activity in order to show he was not "all Talk". By the time I met Doc, he was demonstrating magic at the Mall of America in Minnesota and ended up taking a few of us "regular customers" under his wing and taught us the real deal in the magic world during countless weekends in his apartment. Those were great jam sessions, moves and finesse were taught openly as well as routines and we heard great stories of him and some of his well known magic friends (like Michael Skinner for example).
It was wonderful to see his real story shared in the (what started as a 3 disc set (computer data discs, not dvds). Amazingly, his old friend Don Driver showed up on the same weekend and since they had not seen each other in many years, some great stories were told there too. I really Miss Doc (as well as Don who more recently passed). This set is an awesome history lesson for the art of being a grifter, a con man, a pitchman and other shady occupations in the biz. Highly Recommended.
