This book lays out some sleights with billiard balls and a handkerchief. The main one, "Clean Through," is worth learning if you work at all with billiard balls, because you can do effective penetrations, vanishes, and transpositions with it, and it's pretty easy, and instead of arousing suspicion it puts the client's mind at rest. But I've tried to do more than explain a bunch of moves. I've tried to shape them into something with qualities of a detective story.
