CRAMBROOK CATALOGUE

This is a facsimile reproduction of the 1843, second edition catalog from the W.H.M. Crambrook Company. It is the first English-language magic catalogue in the world. There are only a handful of the originals that are known to exist and a copy recently sold for more than US $30,000.00.

In addition to the "Crambrook’s Catalogue of Mathematical & Mechanical Puzzles, Deceptions and Magical Curiosities" the booklet also contains a reproduction of "An Expose of Some Of The Practices Made Use Of By Professional Card Players, Blacklegs, and Gamblers (Part of which is taken, by permission, from a number of Fraser’s Magazine)." This custom designed card punch is made of Plexiglas and uses a simple adjustment mechanism, made of brass, which allows you to put blisters on just about any thickness card. The larger than usual size makes it easier to punch the cards in any location and can even be used for Jumbo Cards, index cards or sheets of paper.
