CUSTOM
KALEIDOSCOPE 3-DECK SET
 |
|
Custom Kaleidoscope 3-Deck Set |
| US $60.00 |
|
|
|
Playing
card collecting has become a huge business. Both for producers and
collectors. Justin Gilmore who is one of the collectors with a very
extensive collection has put together these special Kaleidoscope
Decks by mixing cards from the many duplicates in his collection. A
classic “Kaleidoscope Deck” is basically a deck with different back
designs but all the same faces, except for the necessary force
cards.
Performances and explanations for this trick are all over YouTube if
you are not familiar with it. But the real value of these cards,
from a collector’s point of view, is the opportunity to get a sample
of these hard-to-find backs for a fraction of what it would have
cost you if you had to buy the decks seperately. Just owning or
displaying these is a pretty impressive collection.
Three different decks available:
Rare Kaleidoscope Deck: Mostly cards from the hard-to-find or
sold-out decks produced from the many designer companies like: Dan & Dave,
The Blue Crown, Theory11, Conjuring Arts, Card Shark, David Blaine, and
various Kickstarter projects. The faces of all the cards are the same.
(Suggested Retail Price: $40).
Pop Culture Kaleidoscope Deck:
Includes many of the non-common backs released by the United States Playing
Card Company including ones with movie and TV show themes as well as many
non-common backs produced by the many designer companies. The faces of all
the cards are the same except for the 4 cards necessary of the Kaleidoscope
effect. (Suggested Retail Price: $20).
Basic Kaleidoscope Deck: Mostly
back designs released by the United States Playing Card Company but also
includes many of the common designer backs. The faces of all the cards are
the same except for the 4 cards necessary of the Kaleidoscope effect.
(Suggested Retail Price: $15).
You get all three decks. A total of 150+
cards with mostly different and unique backs for one low price. Please note
that there will be some duplicate back designs between the decks. (No
instructions included). This is an instant collection of playing card backs.
Very limited quantity.

ERDNASE
216s GREEN AND TAN 2-PACK
 |
|
Erdnase 216s Green and Tan 2-Pack |
| US $16.00 |
|
|
|
These
decks are close replicas of the Bee 216 decks that were produced by
the New York Consolidated Card Company around 1900. It is very
likely that these are the types of cards S.W. Erdnase used and
discussed when he wrote his monumental book in 1905. Available in
both green and tan.
The Conjuring Arts Research Center (CARC)
and the US Playing Card Company (USPC) worked very hard in producing these
thin, yet sturdy cards using special paper and what is now being called the
Erdnase Finish.
This is the thinnest and smoothest card
that can be produced at the USPC. When measured by caliper a 52-card deck is
merely 14.5 mm. This combined with a smooth finish (just as all the cards
were in Erdnase’s time) creates a deck that feels as close to the 1902 Bee
as is possible to make today.
Manufactured by the U.S. Playing Card Company
for the Conjuring Arts Research Center. The cards are printed in Kentucky
and are the standard Poker (wide) size. (You get two decks: a green and a
tan).

LEGENDS BLUE-RED-GREEN
3-PACK
 |
|
Legends Blue-Red-Green 3-Pack |
| US $30.00 |
|
|
|
These
beautiful cards were designed by Mark Stutzman who also designed
David Blaine’s posters and custom decks.
The cards have a precision cut with perfect
registration allowing the borders of the cards to be a little thinner than
is custom. The thinner card stock and coating feels like a cross between
ivory, cambric and plastic. The slip factor and snap factor makes them
perfect for flourishes, shuffle work, deals and more or less all types of
sleight of hand. They are different from any other decks you’ve likely felt
before.
They come in three colors: Red, Blue and
what is being called Metallic Green which is closer to being teal or light
blue. The cards are also one faro away from being in Mnemonica stack and
include a reveal on the spine of the box.
Manufactured in a high-end factory in Taipei
under the direction of Lawrence Sullivan. The cards are the standard Poker
(wide) size and include standard looking faces with a custom Ace of Spades
and two jokers. Limited edition. (You get a set of three. A Blue, a Red and
a Green).

 |
|
Bicycle Maiden Back Gamblers Marked Deck Set |
| US $35.00 |
|
|
|
The
back design is known as the Bicycle 813 Maiden back. It is so
similar to the standard Bicycle back that if inserted into a regular
Bicycle deck it would be difficult to find unless you know exactly
what to look for. That alone makes it worthwhile, but that is only
the regular deck and half of what you get in this set.
The Maiden Back Gamblers Marked Deck
delivers just about everything you could want plus many things that would
never occur to you. Also interesting is that the markings are made using
elements already found in the deck.
Markings include:
Marked
for suite and value ala Ted Leslie system.
Marked
for color.
It
is a one-way deck.
Includes
a set-up card, instruction card and an extra Joker cue list.
Every
card is marked with its numerical position in the stack.
Every
card lets you know what card is above it (the bottom of the deck).
Plus
more interesting markings.
And,
it is also a professionally produced stripper deck.
To
differentiate it from the regular deck it has an 8C reveal under the
barcode.
Manufactured by Houdini's Magic Shop and
printed by the U.S. Playing Card Company. The cards are printed in Kentucky
on Bicycle stock with the Air-Cushion Finish and are the standard poker

Bicycle Red Star Deck 3-Pack |
| US $18.95 |

|
|
An
interesting back design released by the U.S. Playing Card Co. in 2012.
It is a two-color back design with a big five-pointed red star on the
back. The star instantly makes the deck one-way. But what is not obvious
is that the color of the back is almost a flesh tone which should make
it easy to palm and even use on stage for card manipulation.
Manufactured by the U.S. Playing Card Company,
it is referred to as the "Bicycle Red Star" cards. The cards are printed in
Kentucky on Bicycle stock using the Air-Cushion Finish and are the standard
poker size with standard faces. (You get three Red Star Decks).

PHOENIX DOUBLE-DECKER MARKED CARDS
 |
|
Phoenix Double-Decker Marked Cards |
| US $29.95 |
|
|
|
These
are very special poker-size playing cards with the Phoenix back design.
They are made of very thin plastic which is durable and very useable.
Since they are half the thickness of an ordinary playing card you can
actually fit two complete decks of cards into a single card case. The
double deck (104 cards) can actually be handled in front of and shown to
spectators and they will never suspect that you have 104 cards in your
hand instead of 52. This of course opens up many new routines that can
be done. But that is not all.
Both the backs and the faces of the cards are marked as one-way decks. And
the backs are also marked for value and suit using the Leslie markings with
the Wild placement. (Price per deck: Please specify if you prefer red or
blue backs when ordering).
Available now: 6D/8S
Force Deck. Please specify when ordering what you want.

PHOENIX MARKED PARLOUR DECK
 |
|
Phoenix Marked Parlour Deck |
| US $19.95 |
|
|
|
These
are marked Phoenix Parlour cards which are humorously called “the
world's smallest jumbo deck.” The cards are a half-inch longer and a
half-inch wider than standard Poker size cards; so the overall size is
3”x4” which is bigger than normal but small enough to comfortably
execute most sleights. For stage or parlor they are ideal because they
are more visible yet will not appear larger than normal. For general
close-up they are very useable as well.
The marks on all Phoenix decks have been
incorporated into the design and are easier to read if you know where to
look. The marking system is the Leslely markings with the Wild placement.
The card stock used is similar to most
commercial decks and are touting a "Smooth Glide Finish." It is also being
recommended as a “training deck” in the same way that in the first half of
the last century it was suggested to practice with Poker size cards and
perform with Bridge size cards. Available in red or blue -- let us know
which you prefer.
